Hawaii County Civil Defense is warning that residents in areas downrift from the flow need to stay alert and prepare for voluntary evacuation if necessary. The flow originating from fissure 20 has split into two lobes. Lobe 1 has crossed Highway 137 at the 13 mile marker and entered the ocean. Lobe 2 is approximately 400 meters from Highway 137.
